FAQ
A: QPQ treatment greatly increases surface hardness, wear resistance and water‑corrosion resistance of the carbon‑steel housing. It compensates for the relatively low native corrosion resistance of carbon steel, effectively resists erosion from the water medium and friction loss during operation, and thereby extends the housing's service life.
A: Ceramic material has high hardness and excellent wear resistance, while graphite offers good self‑lubricating properties and a low friction coefficient. The combined seal reduces wear on the sealing surface at 1 200 rpm, maintains proper seal fit, and prevents seal failure or leakage caused by high‑speed friction.
A: No additional lubrication is needed. The seal is a ceramic‑graphite combination; graphite itself is self‑lubricating. Together with the mechanical‑seal design, a natural lubricating film forms during water transmission. Daily use only requires regular inspection of the sealing‑surface cleanliness; no extra lubricants are required.
