First, the reason of abnormal sound analysis

1. Improper assembly

During the installation of the rotary joint, if the operation procedure is not strictly followed, such as the axial and radial deviation is too large, and the preload is unequal, additional friction or collision between the internal parts of the joint may be generated, resulting in abnormal noise.

 

2. The seal is worn or damaged

3. Insufficient lubrication

The joint shell, flange, shaft, bearing and other structural parts loosen, crack and fracture due to fatigue, impact and other reasons, which will produce abnormal vibration and noise during operation.

 

Second, treatment methods

1. Standard assembly

The rotary joint should be installed in strict accordance with the installation guide provided by the manufacturer to ensure axial and radial alignment, reasonable control of preload and avoid bump damage during assembly.

 

2. Replace the seals regularly

Make a reasonable maintenance plan, check the sealing status of the rotary joint regularly, replace the worn and aging seals in time, and maintain good sealing performance.

 

3. Strengthen lubrication management

Choose the appropriate specification of lubricating grease, supplement or replace it regularly to ensure that the moving parts inside the joint are fully lubricated. For special working conditions such as high load and high temperature, special grease or lubricating oil circulation system can be used.

 

4. Add filter device

Add a filter at the inlet and outlet of the rotary joint to effectively intercept the impurities in the working medium and prevent them from entering the interior of the joint, and regularly clean or replace the filter element.
